1. Human: The most adaptable and numerous. Often caught in the crossfire, but also capable of great leadership and ingenuity. Vulnerable to corruption but possess a strong will.

2. Vampire: Elegant, manipulative, and reliant on blood for sustenance. Historically powerful negotiators within the Concordance, their influence has waned, fueling resentment. Some cling to the old ways, while others embrace the chaos.

3. Lycan: Fierce warriors bound to the cycles of the moon. Often outcasts, struggling to control their transformations. Some resent the Vampires for exploiting their power.

4. Angel (Celestial): Guardians of Aethelgard, sworn to uphold order and justice. Divided on how best to respond to the Shattering – some advocate for intervention, while others believe they must remain aloof.
